Channel Account Manager

Proximate is seeking a Channel Account Manager to lead Proximate growth strategies toward key partners. The Channel Account Manager will develop and manage the implementation of sales strategies as well as the plans and programs that are designed to achieve and exceed organic revenue growth goals. This individual will be responsible for managing key relationships and will continue to brand Proximate platforms with the partner's executive staff, senior and middle management, and sales and technical consultants. The Channel Account Manager will be tasked with developing solutions within sales segment verticals and enable those sales verticals to design-in and sell Proximate solutions.




- Develop, implement, and drive sales action plans to increase sales volumen in all sales verticals.

- Effectively sell the portfolio of Proximate products to partner middle managers, technical support, and functional titles such as sales, customer service and purchasing.

- Present training and education on sales, customer service, products, markets, technical knowledge, and procedures.

- Provide presales support

- Manage deal registration and sales pipeline

- Ongoing coaching of product specialists.

- Building trust and value with partners to develop leads.


Position Requirements:

- Experience with Channel Management

- Experience in Event Management

- Sales Management experience

- Bachelor´s Degree, Business Administration preferred

- 5 years related experience managing large strategic customer relationships

- Excellent customer focus, strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a dynamic sales organization required

- Experience working with multinational companies.


Nice to Have:

- Software development knowledge experience, ideally selling enterprise software or solutions

- General knowledge of how mobile applications work

- Experience using CRM systems

- Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity

- Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, phone skills, Microsoft Office Suite)

- Prior objection handling experience in early markets

- Able to learn and understand enterprise product solutions and features

- Bachelors Degree
